Convict Trail ( Wisemans Ferry to Wollombi or Wisemans Ferry to Putty Rd)
On this trek we would also have Judy’s father with us (88 years old) I thought we would take an easy drive from Asquith to Berowra Waters then on to Wisemans Ferry then to Wollombi knowing this would be an easy run.
The first stop was the St Albans Old General Cemetery, then on to Wollombi.
We were going to have lunch at Wollombi but there were people everywhere there so we did not stop Wollombi.
Judy then said that she would like to go to the Finchley Trig Lookout and then onto Putty Road to go home. I had my concerns about her dad but he said he was up for it.
Thankfully I had installed an engine bash plate on Saturday. This got tested twice on the run from the lookout to Putty Rd.
While this Trek is rated as easy the run from the Trig Lookout to Putty Rd was pretty rough. We enjoy this run very much.
